What is a piece of valuable information that you were never taught in college that would have been really useful in the classroom teaching students ?
I want to know information that would be useful to keep in my back pocket, so that I know what to expect or classroom management skills that won't really be taught to you.

Classroom management starts day one! But don’t be afraid to let the students see the authentic you. Many times they don’t think that teachers are real people outside of the classroom. They appreciate knowing you.

Good evening Autumn 🌆I’m very pleased to see your question and hope that I may answer in a fulfilling manner. I’m a proponent of asking questions often & even when they may not be anticipated. I do feel that these questions might be best served as inherently placed in current practice
Having taught & served in the field I would reiterate the importance of asking questions & gaining more clarity from those questions ✅ I’d love to hear more on your own progress in your process :)

YOUR’RE in control of your life, not the tired, tenured, Professors who you want to listen to their dogma and go home. As an Adjunct at an Art College, I’ve noticed that time management has become more and more of an issue with among current students. (I’m not sure why.)
