When is the best time to apply for your scholarships and how many a day?
I've just heard about this site and decided it may be a great opportunity to fill out some scholarships for college. I came with the curiosity of wondering when the best time may be to apply and how many a day.

Hi,
Scholarship deadlines run all year long so it really depends on the company or website you're applying to. I advise students to do a 2-3 a day using FREE scholarship sites that allow you to search by topic, major, and other factors. Most students nowadays start with the "no essay" scholarships because it's a matter of a few clicks to submit once you create a profile on a scholarship site (You could in theory do a BUNCH of these in one sitting once your profile is created). I would also doing essay scholarships (1-2 per week) because less students do those and they tend to offer more money.
I included a list to start with below (Bold is my favorite site to refer students to)
Bold.org Scholarships
Chegg
raise.me Microscholarships
United Negro College Fund (If you're Black or African American)
Edvisors Scholarship
Fastweb
Kaleidoscope Scholarship
Scholarship Buddy Scholarship
Studentscholarships.org
SmarterCollege.org
You should also ask your parent/guardian or school counselor/teacher to help you figure out if your local aldermen, senator or congressman has scholarships for students that live in their areas. If you have a job, you can ask if they offer tuition assistance or scholarships.
