Liam’s Answer

I see AI being a major helper to nurses bogged down with admin. Note taking, data collection, record keeping, and test analysis will all be tasks taken over by AI and this will allow nurses to better focus on patients. I feel that AI can be a big helper in the medical field and with the right implementation can be a major helper. Other than that I don't think AI can be a suitable replacement for actual medical help and that the medical field will change with AI implementation but not have staff replaced by it.

Harold’s Answer

An insightful question that is timely. Many people are trying to understand how AI will impact their jobs/roles and how to best reimagine the job/role with AI. Being fluent with AI tools in whatever domain you work in. A biologist who knows how to use AI models, or a lawyer who can work with AI research tools, will be more successful. Organization are continuously trying to find new ways to use AI through their employees first rather than through business process reengineering. So you will have an influence in where your field will go. Get curious about the tool and how to prompt to get the most out of the tool. Just 1 or 2 prompts won't do. Push the envelope and get out of your comfort zone. Find a "why not" attitude otherwise risk aversion will limit your potential.

Sandeep’s Answer

Hello Jadyn,

AI will likely support nursing rather than replace it. It can help with things like monitoring patient data, predicting complications, and assisting with documentation, which may reduce some administrative workload.

However, roles like a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist require real-time clinical judgment, patient care, and hands-on decision making things AI cannot replace. In the future, nurses will likely work alongside AI tools to improve patient outcomes rather than compete with them.
