I suggest taking as many dual credit or AP courses prior to graduating high school. Additionally, look into taking CLEP tests for any of the basic general studies courses that will be part of your degree plan. In many cases you only need a score of 51% on a CLEP test to earn college credits. Every college should have info on the CLEP test on its website. Take a few courses over the summer and winter breaks too while you are home from school or if you go to school locally. This will decrease the amount of time you have to spend in college too. Work a part time job as a student worker or near college. Consider careers that may offer debt forgiveness for student loans. Talk to the financial aid department about this and ask about grants you can qualify for. Good luck, you will do well.
