One of the most important things you can do is build genuine relationships with your professors early on by attending office hours or staying curious in class, because when you eventually need a recommendation, you want them to be able to speak about your character and work ethic rather than just your grade. Beyond the classroom, try to land at least one internship that gives you hands-on experience, as this helps you figure out what kind of work environment you actually enjoy while making your resume stand out to employers. You should also check if your school has a career services center that offers mock interviews or resume workshops, as these tools help you feel much more polished and confident when you start applying for jobs. Keep up the hard work and good luck.
