How do you choose a degree when you have many interests?
I've always been asked, "What do you want to do?" when it comes to my degree, but I love art, cooking, criminal justice, computer science, etc. How do you end up choosing before you're 2-3 years into a degree you realize you don't have any real passion for, or even grew out of?

That's a fantastic question! When making decisions, it's important to think about a few key things. Consider these questions:
1. How many jobs are available in this field? Finding a job is crucial for your happiness.
2. Can I earn a stable income in this field? Financial security is important for living comfortably.
3. Is there job security in this field? Consider factors like technology changes or economic downturns.
4. What makes me happiest? Enjoying your job is essential since you spend a lot of time there.
5. Where do I want to live and build my life?
I started with a degree in Elementary Education because I love working with kids. However, I found challenges with the job, like dealing with administrative issues and low pay. So, I chose a different career path but still volunteer with children as a CASA. This way, I can enjoy working with kids without relying on it for my income.
