As a Junior in High school I would focus on two studies. Writing and speech. The majority of what a criminologist does is writing. Reports are read by everyone from your superiors to lawyers, judges, and jurors, so you have to be able to communicate as to what happened with accuracy. Speech because that is your other primary job. You will be interviewing witnesses, suspects, family members and speaking in court. Again communications are important to the job. I might suggest research but writing and speech are essential
