Whats a good University or college that I can choose for sports?

I want a good, and not so expensive university or college where I can practice a sport but also have a degree, so what would be a good option that has both?

Hi Mia,

Without any information what sport you play, at what level you want to play, what major you want to study for and what country you want to go to, it's pretty much impossible to answer your question.

I am going to assume that you want to attend a university in the US. Maybe this website can give you some initial information about athletic scholarships:
https://educationusa.state.gov/athletic-scholarships

You can use these sites to further research colleges:
https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/college-search
https://collegescorecard.ed.gov/
https://www.scholarmatch.org/resources/scholarmatcher
https://nces.ed.gov/collegenavigator/

I hope this helps! All the best to you!

Thank you comment icon Thank you su much, I want to play a high level volleyball at the U.S, but im not really sure what major to study. Do you have any recoendations for that? Mia
Thank you comment icon Hi Mia, nobody can tell you what a "good" major would be for you without any knowledge of your natural talents and interests. Even if I assume that you want to do "something to do with sports", the range of possible "sporty" majors includes sports management, sports marketing, sports science/kinesiology, sports journalism, sports psychology, sports medicine, athletic training, or sports communication/PR. But you don't have to major in sports just because you want to play sports. You can study to become an engineer or a geneticist or anything else you find interesting and can see yourself building a career in. I hope this helps! All the best to you! KP Karin P.
