At 14, start by looking around your neighborhood. Ask trusted neighbors if they need help with lawn care, pet sitting, dog walking, organizing, or other small jobs. You can also check local supermarkets and other businesses because, in Ohio, 14-year-olds can work certain jobs with restrictions.
Another great idea is to start learning about money, not just earning it. My son is 14 and is learning about the stock market. You don't need money to start learning. The U.S. SEC's Investor.gov has free student resources about saving, investing, diversification, risk and compound interest.
Don't focus only on making money fast. At your age, learning how to earn, save, invest, and develop useful skills can be much more valuable for your future.

Nicolas, it's great that you want to earn money at 14! With your parent's permission, you can take on jobs like dog walking, pet sitting, or doing yard work.
