How can I make the best out of networking with people. I'm not a shy person.

I'm a recent graduate whose life goal is to experience people around the world through event proxy brand.
I recently got on a call with a big professional and I want to be able to make something out of it do the connection doesn't just pass.

Hi Layo,

Many people see networking as a single chat, but it's really the start of a relationship. Since you've already spoken to someone you admire, send a quick follow-up. Thank them for their time and mention something they said that stood out to you.

Keep in touch occasionally. You don't need to ask for favors every time. Share updates, ask a smart question, or let them know how you used their advice. People are more likely to help when they see you're working hard and growing.

To connect globally, keep your network diverse. Talk to event planners, marketers, founders, and creatives. You never know where a conversation might lead.

Shift your mindset from "What can I get?" to "How can I help?" Share interesting articles, introduce them to useful contacts, or support their work.

Be patient. Building strong professional relationships takes time. You're already ahead by being outgoing and proactive. Stay curious and genuine, and everything will fall into place.
