Christine’s Answer

An individual who is an OB-GYN is a medical doctor who takes care of women who are pregnant, from the start of their pregnancy through the delivery of the baby. They also perform exams and provide medical services to women who aren’t pregnant.

it depends on the circumstances of the death of a mother or child. If the doctor made a severe mistake resulting in the unnecessary death of either the mom or child or both, then he/she can be sued for malpractice and possibly loose his/her medical practice license.
