Biology, Chem, Organic Chem, Physics, Math. I would highly suggest taking this courses in college (undergrad). You will learn a lot more in your undergrad about the sciences I have listed. Taking these classes in college is also good because each course is provided with a (lab) which med schools technically want to make sure you have. It looks very well to see that you have completed all those sciences and maths before applying to medical school.

Farewell.

Thank you comment icon Thank you very much. This information has been quiet helpful and I am trying t take similar classes like these in high school right now. What is the difference between organic chem and chem? Gisselle

Take as many AP or IB courses in high school. You have a lot of years of education in front of you and getting college credit in high school can save you time and money.

Take all the science classes you can to help you get good grades in college.

Daniel’s Answer

I would say its best to take as many advanced placement science classes as possible. Although physics or say environmental science do not specifically relate to that career, they do expose you to the type of science heavy courses that you will be taking in college. It also, would give you a chance to experience other scientific fields that you could fall in love with more than your current hopes for an occupation. For me, i originally took heavy science course load, then after about three our four courses in high school i realized it was not for me. This saved me from spending 4 years and 10+ college courses on something i did not actually love as much as i thought.
