Is it hard to be in the fashion field?
I take career tests all the time and Fashion is always the career best sited for me but what are the jobs available in fashion and how hard is it to work in fashion and what are the best colleges for fashion. #career #fashion #design
Coincidently, I was watching Project Runway when I saw your question. Although I do not know of any particular fashion design schools, connecting with a fashion designer would give you insight on the possible career paths he or she has taken as well as the education they acquired to become one. Be innovative on creating connections with a fashion designer
For example, social media could be a great tool to follow and connecting with a fashion designer. Educate yourself on past and current fashion designers that you are interested in. Educate yourself as much as possible on the field and then make a decision on what would work as far as your endeavors to pursue the career.
Getting into the Fashion industry is not as hard as you think. Try to get a summer job, an internship, or short hour part-time job in this industry when you ready. Because no matter which part of fashion person you want to become, the entry-level retail job usually is the best to learn, listen, and watch. When you inside this retail globe, you will pay more attention to trends, customer desires, marketing, merchandising, etc.
In terms of school: FIT, Parsons School of Design, Pratt , Academy of Art are the best. When choosing school for fashion, make sure you choose big cities where fashion matters. Once you graduate, the chance of getting a fashion career is much higher.
