There can be injuries in any field. Tradesmen and women can be injured in the field if they are not observing safety training, or are using unsafe equipment. Knowing your physical limits and knowing how to safely use your equipment and training should go a long way to preventing injuries.

People get injured often I'd they don't have the training to do the job they're attempting. If it's your first time performing a task it's okay to ask for assistance from someone more experienced who can walk you through the steps. All unions have apprenticeships that do a good job of training. There are building codes for everything and for good reason.
