Hi Jose,

Thinking about these things early can just spark thoughts you may not have realized you have or interests you didn't even know existed. This is just one way of expanding your thoughts. You can think on other things as well, unrelated to career or future. The overall goal is to just think. Keep thinking, and thinking, and thinking, about anything and everything. Your mind will expand, your views and opinions will improve, and your world will get bigger. Never stop being curious about anything, including potential careers in the future.

It is important to do more research on the careers that you may be interested because you may only know what is interesting for you and by talking to professionals that work in the area you may learn facts of the job routine that may change your decision or make it even stronger.

Filipe recommends the following next steps:

Make a list of 5 careers that you like and 5 that you don’t
Find something good and something not so good about each one of them
Talk with professionals of those areas and ask them what they like and what they don’t about the daily routine.
