According to my knowledge CS is all about back end and IS is all about front end. I would suggest you to do some research to figure out what you would enjoy more.

Hello Renuka. The easiest way, at least for me, to decide between IT and CS degree is the course work. I had no interest in programming computers which means learning coding languages, and CS degrees are heavy into coding. Now, don't get me wrong, my IT path had some basic coding classes to familiarize with coding, however, it was not too in depth and we didn't stay long in the coding area. Hope this helps.
