To become involved in basketball you first need to find an appreciation for it. Like with almost anything, to want to be apart of something you must also have a great interest in the topic. One way of gaining appreciation for it is to learn and watch the best people to every play. With most activities, spectating the best there is builds great interests. You can easily find footage on YouTube or if you don’t need actual footage, just check out nba.com for statistics and much more.

It's easy to get involved in basketball but being one of the best takes hard work and dedication. Daily drills such as dribbling, shooting, rebounding and defense would be a great start. Once you commit yourself fully to the craft and realize how good you are and how much better you can become. It will become second nature.
