Quantrel - Every chef who eyes a long and fruitful career in culinary / Professional Chef - He / She must will have to face the heat in the kitchen & inherently adapt the characteristics of leadership. You should Cook with aspirations of becoming that chef must commit to learning from other mentors , end of it - this comes down to job satisfaction, being a chef offers which is proportionate to successful career in cooking industry .

Great question, believe it or not math is a critical function in being a successful chef. Learn it well, division, multiplication, adding and subtracting they are used daily!

Hey there!

I agree with Rosie that math is a big part of becoming successful as a chef. As a restaurant manager, communication is key when becoming a successful chef. While, making great food may be up to just you at times, there are a lot of times that you will be working with a team. As a top chef you will need to be able to properly communicate with the other staff there in order to make sure that all your food is properly prepared. Safety is just as important. When becoming a chef there are a lot of temperature controls that need to be met and followed properly or someone can become very ill. These 3 things are very important.
