How do you select a career that is economically aspiring as well as fulfulling?

I am attempting to figure out the career path that I wish to take that will allow me to feel fulfilled and enspired as well as keeps me financially stable.

1) Try to volunteer in fields you are interested in to determine if you enjoy working in those fields
2) I will recommend you research the starting salary and job success of the graduates who are working in the fields you are interested in.

3) List out your expenses to determine how much you would require to live the lifestyle you want

1) Volunteer and find out what career opportunities excite you most,
2) Research starting salaries for careers you are interested in,
3) Speak to a career coach or counsellor,
4) Try and find mentors in different fields so that you can reach out to them to get knowledge of real world experiences.

I would start by simply looking at yourself and what you like to do. For example. I have been in Leadership for over 17 years in my career. I decided to take this path because I love to teach and love the feeling of having my direct reports share their success while working side by side with me. Not to mention I have been with my company for over 10 years. A company that has provided a great income for myself and my family!
