Hi Daniela,
1) First, make sure you do background research on colleges of interest. Look at their admission pages and websites for specific programs of interest. Ensure that you would be a good first first before investing time to apply. Once you feel it is potentially a good fit, you will want to read about required materials and have those materials ready in advance such as official SAT scores, letters of recommendation, etc.
2) When you are ready to apply, look at their admissions page and look for the application, there is usually a fee.
3) My advice is to use Common App, that way you can apply to multiple colleges at the same time and save some time: https://www.commonapp.org/
Good luck!

The most important advice that you will hear time and time again is: do your research! There are so many things to consider when applying for college that is it easy for you to overlook the big picture. Why do you want to go to this college? Will the program and/or campus opportunities help you pursue the career right for you?
Other than whether you qualify in terms of GPA and standardized test scores, some factors to think about: can you afford going to this college; do they have reasonable tuition prices or provide scholarships to underprivileged students? Do I want to commute and stay close to family/friends, or do I want to go out of state and surround myself with new people and places? Can I handle rent and food costs, and living with roommates if I plan to live in an apartment? Is this college known for what I want my college experience to be (innovators in research, study abroad opportunities, athletes division).
What ever you decide to do, know that there is a small group on the CareerVillage site who supports you and are willing to mentor you during every step. Good luck!

Do a lot of research and do not limit yourself. If you look hard, there are resources. Yes, researching can be overwhelming because of the amount of data available to us. But it will be worth it. If you have an idea of what you want to study, begin with a wide search of schools offering that area of study and slowly narrow down.
Because there are often fees, be selective in who you apply to so as not to spend too much on fees.

Hi Daniella! The advice I have for you when applying for college is to use commonapp; great tool to support you narrowing down and prioritizing what you are looking for out of an institution for example, is cost your primary focus, is a certain sport or club organization important. Check the app out and let me know if you have any further questions on how to navigate it.
