What is college? Why is college so important?
I wonder why do people have to go to school, middle school, high school, and college. Why it all they so important to us. Some famous people don't go to college are graduate from high school, Then they make a lot of money. #any

We are in a period of transition from college oriented to trade school oriented. Colleges are so expensive, and they continue to charge more each year. College is good if you want to go into a profession that requires specialization and advanced learning. However, more and more young people are realizing that trade school is best for them. You can learn a skill such as electrician, plumber, HVAC, auto technician and welder to name a few. The training does not take too long. Then your qualified to begin one of these careers. Typically, you work for an already established professional in these fields (called an apprenticeship) to learn the basics but eventually, you will be working on your own. The pay is good. There is so much need for trade professionals and dwindling supply of workers. When demand is high and supply is low, pay is excellent. Best of luck to you.

Colleges/universities are institutions that prepare individuals for certain careers. All what comes before are institutions to prepare you for that higher education or blue collar jobs. Lastly, you have to understand that your education does not have to be directly proportional to your income.
