Hi Mario,

This is a great question! There are many different ways to approach finding a career after college. The particular route I took was deciding while I was in college what particular field of work interested me the most, which was Marketing. Prior to my senior year in college I completed for a internship with a company to get a better understanding of how the company ran. I worked closely with a Marketing team to see what day-to-day looked like for them and I identify specific positions within the company that had a close connection with marketing that I found interesting. After completing my internship I realized that starting off in sales would be the best way to get my foot in the door and gain experience that would help me eventually get into the Marketing organization. I hope this helps and best of luck!

Intern during college, summer for sure, its a great way to understand what you like and do not like. I would also go to career fairs, and apply for an interview for as many jobs as possible. You should trust your "gut" on which opportunity feels right. Remember its ok to make a change later.

Take advantage of internship program - I did this in college. Both helped me determine if either PR or broadcasting was right for me, I realized after 6 months doing each that neither was a fit for my career. Keep trying, experiementing, take a calculated risk - you;ll find the right path for you to go down!
