The answer above covered most! But I also think if you college offers any public policy classes, this is helpful context when studying history. Sociology is a good one too!

I'd think History and Government but also English, Rhetoric, and Speech. The latter ones may help with teaching and debate club or similar extracurricular activities may also help.

Others also suggest Geography, Economics, Civics, Politics, Psychology, and World Cultures & Religions.
