Hi Aaniyah,
The short answer is that you don't have to go to college to be a singer/songwriter. You just have to be a really good singer and songwriter to be able to make a living as one and that can take more work than a college degree. If you like singing and writing songs then the best thing to do is to write as many songs and sing for as many people as you can. If you love it, then just do it! You'll get better along the way and maybe a career will happen. Find teachers or people who can help by asking anyone you know who's into music. It's not easy to make money doing this, even after doing it for many years, but some people do. Sing. Write. Maybe get a college degree too! Why limit yourself?!?!
