Sooksun’s Answer

Hello from across the pond. Much kudos for wanting to go above and beyond to help your community! I'm not sure if you mean to hold down two jobs; but you can volunteer to be on standby for emergency services. Best bet is to contact your local fire services department and have a chat to get the requirements. It will probably be different for each locale. Good Luck!

Sooksun recommends the following next steps:

Contact administrative office of local fire services and emergency services to get volunteer requirements.

Jesse W.’s Answer

Veterinarian work usually requires a regular schedule within Monday through Saturday. EMS/Firefighters usually work a schedule of one 24-hour day on and 2 days off or similar. You might be able to work out a schedule with a Veterinarian. You do have to choose which job is more important.
