How can I sign up for a class remotely at Harper College?

I'm not entirely able to apply for a class at Harper College. I just graduated last year, and I had a plan on going there in person, but, there's a pandemic in the way. So, I was wondering if remote classes are available, because I'm planning on doing at least two classes remotely, such as Cartooning, and Science. #college #classes #science #technology #cartoonist #remoteclasses

Cheryl’s Answer

As mentioned many if not all courses would be offered online. Many schools will partner with local community colleges and high schools in your area and offer extended educational opportunities. Universities and colleges are always looking for ways to do remote learning, so keep check back to your favorite school as it changes day by day.
Thank you comment icon Thank you, Cheryl!! As soon as I age out of the Transition program at Higgins Education Center, I'll be able to browse the Harper College website, and register for those classes. Alex

Hello,

Here is a link for Harper College's online sign-up and classes. https://www.harpercollege.edu/online/index.php

Many colleges are adding online learning options due to the pandemic and this trend (online learning for college) should continue for some time.

Good luck.

Alex,

Hello and I grew up in Streamwood! Others here have already shared the link to resources for Harper College online learning. But you can also request a catalog and start your online account here https://ce.harpercollege.edu/public/student/studentRequestInformation.do?method=edit&type=3

I have taken classes at Harper College myself, including an online course and found it very helpful and interesting. One professor held weekly, scheduled online times for students in his course so we could connect with him on a regular basis and ask for additional help or guidance.

Harper College has done much to improve their course offering and facilities over the years.

Best wishes for success in your education and career goals.

Harper College is a great choice! I grew up a few miles from there and attended after high school. There are online courses you can take during this current pandemic. I agree with Miko's suggestion. Go check out the resources available to you.
Also look into possible internships available that you may be able to tap into.
Here's another link.

Good luck - you're on the right track!
