Kruti’s Answer

The Society of Professional Journalists runs an annual scholarship contest for high school students. This is one of the best journalism scholarships if you're planning ahead with the goal of becoming a professional writer.

John’s Answer

Your foremost question should be, "Which universities have a journalism school that will be good for me?" Then you can investigate the scholarships at those. It won't help you much to get a scholarship to a school that's not a good fit for you.

Anthony’s Answer

Hey Derven,

BU has a site - https://www.bu.edu/com/career-services/career-services-special-opportunities/scholarships-and-fellowships/

Scholarships in Massachusetts - https://www.unigo.com/scholarships/by-state/massachusetts-scholarships

Society of Professional Journalists - https://www.spj.org/. Contact them to see if they might be able to help you identify some schools.

I would also suggest contacting the colleges that you are interested and speak to the Financial Aid office to see if they know of any.

Hope that helps
