International student opportunities with criminology and criminal justice major.

Hi. I'm currently pursuing my second masters in criminology and criminal justice. I am a F1 student and on graduation would need visa sponsorship.
I finished my first masters in US, majoring in business management and undergrad in information science and engg in India. I'm looking to seek advice on what opportunities are available from this major as all federal jobs mandate being a US citizen or permanent resident requirement to apply. Thanks! #students

Hello,

I am not aware of jobs that are particular to your field but I want to re-enforce the traditional routes of applications: linkedin, college career website, cold emailing, glassdoor etc.
On linkedin, in particular, there are several groups for F1 students seeking employment where recruiters post vacancies for international students. I would suggest joining these group and networking with industry professionals within them and with recruiters who actively post.
Once such group is: F1 visa job seekers (simply search for this and request to join).

Hi Rashmi! As someone who was also a F1 student I know how difficult it can be to find opportunities open to F1 students. I am not as familiar with your area however I know that the UN has several opportunities for Graduate students in terms of internships and work. I will see if I can find any links to direct you to!
