How do I know if I should major in criminology or criminal justice?

I know I want to go into one of those fields but I’m just not sure which one. I like criminal justice because of the impact I could have and how exciting and interesting it sounds, but I enjoy the social aspects of criminology. Which one should I do?

International student opportunities with criminology and criminal justice major.

Hi. I'm currently pursuing my second masters in criminology and criminal justice. I am a F1 student and on graduation would need visa sponsorship. I finished my first masters in US, majoring in business management and undergrad in information science and engg in India. I'm looking to seek advice on what opportunities are available from this major as all federal jobs mandate being a US citizen or permanent resident requirement to apply. Thanks! #students #law #lawenforcement #justice #criminology #criminaljustice #f1student

Is Gender Studies BA qualifitied to apply for gradute programs in Master's of Social Work?

I love my major gender studies, and I want to focus on serving marginalized people that are from lower income, domestic violence survivors, people who are suffering from trauma (hunger, poverty, economic hardship, physical, and sexual abuse, emotional), I want to empower, protect, serve, and embrace the bodies that are suffering in this world which includes children, teens, and family. I plan to earn my BA in Gender studies but I am not sure if this is the best major for applying into graduate school for earning my master's in social work. I currently work at a homeless shelter and I love being a guest advocate. #SOCIAL WORK #HUMANITARIAN #JUSTICE #GENDER EQUITY #LOVE #GENDER STUDIES #MSW

If you're a crime scene investigator, crime never happens at a set time and each crime scene is horrific in its own way I'm sure so how do you handle the horrific natures of some crime scenes and blance work with family and other things outside of work?

I've heard that people in criminal justice (depending on what they do in the department) have a hard time having enough family time with the work they do and how sometimes the crime scenes leave images stuck in her head. I just want to know the best way to handle things and balance time if I decide to go into this career field. Thank you! #criminal #crime #justice #investigator #balance #scene #life-balance
