How do pediatricians know what symptoms you have? On the laptop is there something that says what symptoms you may have?

Patients come to the appointment with their parent or an authorize caregiver. I ask the pertinent questions to the caregiver/parent, then examine the patient and get to a diagnosis. As the child gets older then is able to relay the symptoms as well.
