I think it's important to go with a subject that interests you, and get involved as many career-based extra curricular groups as you can find (such as Future Business Leaders of America) for internships and on-the-job work exposure. In undergrad, there are certain courses and majors that are interesting to you ever though they don't seem practical as a career. These are not necessarily useless majors.
Ultimately, most of the skills you learn in college are out of date within 10 years. Then it's about your work ethic, reputation and ability to learn & apply new things.
Use every course you take in college to learn how to teach yourself (learn independently), manage your time and build your work networks. And try as many jobs and internships as you can to find the type of job/work environment that you like.

Hi Riya - Congrats on passing the 12th grade in a very atypical environment so firstly you should be very proud! Second on your area of focus for your undergraduate degree, it really depends on where your interests lie and if you may have any professions you're targeting once you graduate. If you are still undecided, I agree with LM that you can consider pursuing a liberal arts or general studies degree as a start. Once you begin taking some general credits and have a stronger lean towards whether it may be science or business, I feel it isn't too late to consider a more focused major. Good luck with your studies and very excited for you in terms of your next steps!

If you have multiple interests, you might try an Interdisciplinary, Liberal Studies, or General Studies major, that will let you combine multiple interests. Or an Individually Designed major that you can even name yourself.
