Maria A.’s Answer

To answer your question, in order to become a registered nurse you must attend an associate or bachelors level nursing program. An associates degree typically takes 2 years to obtain and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) can take up to 4 years to obtain. In my experience, I became a certified nurse assistant in order to experience the field of nursing at the lowest level. I enjoyed helping others in need and decided to further my education.
