Important quality in a physical therapy is resilience, with all most things in life treatment physical therapy is not a straight line, anyone patient will likely experience ups & downs.

A lot of empathy, responsibility, kindness, courage, endurance and good psychological health, plus being a person who likes to read a lot and learn lots of things, the thing is that you probably are going to see a lot of people coming at you with different needs, so that's why you've to learn a lot, the empathy and good psychological health is, because you're going to get a lot of different patients, and ones can have serious diseases, you've to be able to handle that.

To be a Physical therapist you have to be compassionate to others, have great communication skills, attention to detail, time management, very resourceful, staying power to see the patient through to the end. Lastly helping your clients create problem solving methods that they can use at home or when not in therapy.
