Hey! Glad to hear about your passion towards the current pandemics of today. You can do several fields of study like chemistry (learning about how opioids physically cause addiction along with what you may need to stop it), health sciences, or even public health. Any of these fields I feel would be safe and these areas would benefit you in research as well.

Herman’s Answer

Hi Daysha,

I don't know the ultimate answer to this, but I would think studying biology or chemistry would be closest to what you want to do. Every university has many different majors, I suggest you check with your university. You may also want to consider graduate school for a doctorate or medical degree if you want to conduct medicinal research. :)

Best regards,
Herman
