What will it take to become a youth pastor?
I am a senior in high school and want to pursue youth ministry in college. However, I am not sure what units and programs will help me best. #college #youth-ministry

One way to start would be to go to your Parish and speak with the local pastor. He'll be able to give you the best career advice!

Unfortunately there are not too many courses in college that deal with the spiritual aspect of man. There are online courses to receive certificates in the study of spirituality. Humanities, philosophies, sociocultural studies and religious studies courses will help spin a cocoon around your brain in order for it to hatch later on into a intelligent butterfly. As far as youth ministry make sure you stay in contact with local religious figures in your area and their programs.
