The topic of mass casualty triage is a very complicated issue and one that really can't be answered adequately in this forum. There are some very good resources out there, such as https://www.mayoclinic.org/medical-professionals/trauma/news/mass-casualty-triage-guidelines-revised/mac-20512735 which can give you specific details on how the triage system is used in a mass casualty incident. The Mayo resource also includes interesting links for more details and personal stories of how mass casualty triage has been used.

Personally, I hope you never find a need to use it.
