I majored in computer science and want to highlight that there are also many customer-facing options available to folks with a background in computer science. If you're interested in working directly with customers, find a company that offers a product targeted at a technical audience.
This allows leveraging a computer science background while helping customers, which I've found rewarding. Some specific titles to explore in this area include Technical Account Manager, Solutions Engineer, and Solutions Architect.
