How is it like being an Architect?

If there are any Architect’s here, how much do architects make and is it worth it to be an Architect?

I’m not an architect, I’m a union carpenter that builds the stuff architects draw. My advice is spend some time learning how things are built before trying to draw them. Many architects struggle to understand why their ideas aren’t practical.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is a good place to research about the various jobs, position description, pay scale, etc. Simply type in “Architect Pay Scale” in the search block and the look for…Architects Occupational Outlook Handbook in the U.S. Bureau of Labor.
