I originally chose a major of Chemistry-Business, as I had a strong interest in pursuing a career in the sciences. However, as I took more business classes, I discovered that I had far more interest in marketing and statistical analysis than I realized. So, I switched my major and minor degree focus. I have now had a very rewarding 44-year career in the technology field using both my business and science education. My advise is to take a variety of classes in college, not only to build a broad knowledge on many subjects, but to possibly uncover a passion you were not aware of.
