Thank you for your question. Many students have similar question. Firstly, you have to find out what careers you have interest. The relevant subjects will be the major and minor you can take in the college. And, different colleges have strength in different subjects.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Think about what you have interest, e.g. your hobbies, favourite subjects, etc. and identify the related careers
E.g. If you like music, would you like to be a musician, singer, musical artist, music composer, music producer, etc.
If you have interest in maths, would you like to be an banker, accountant, engineer, financial analyst, maths teacher, etc.
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counsellor, your parents, etc.
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue. The relevant subjects will the major and minor you can target
5. Explore the college reviews on these subjects and the entry critieria

That's like saying what dish is the best at a restaurant. We all have different tastes and apptitudes. College is about finding yourself.
I thought I wanted to work in a radio station so I spent years getting a communications degree and that would transfer to other jobs. Then I moved to Music Industry Tech.
But after all those years my degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences was a combination of all of them, you get to experience everything and pick your own adventure. Don't focus on the “major” but your desire and strengths and what you want to build upon.

Decide if your school is for you or your parents.
Are you going to go into debt just to get a degree you hate?
