In addition to knowing one's great strengths, remember to think of situations as evidence to support those strengths. For example, if you think that you're analytical and a good problem solver, then recall a situation when you used those skills (group projects, personal problems, etc...). This type of thinking will help you succeed when being in an interview for the future. Many interview questions are behavioral and start with sentences like "Tell me about a time when you..." So an interview question could be framed as "Tell me about a time when you solved a problem." To best prepare for that answer, think of a formula to articulate an answer. Some methods are called STAR, PAR, or the ACE formula. You think of a "situation or problem" and then the "task" of what you had to do, "action" are the steps/ways to solve that problem, and then state the "result" or outcome of that situation. In summary, it's always a great idea to know what you're good at doing and to remember experiences to support it.

Hello Arnitrious!

To uncover your top strengths, you might consider taking a strengths evaluation like the Clifton StrengthsFinder. This tool is specifically crafted to aid you in pinpointing your innate talents and converting them into strengths. The Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment can be bought online and completed using the code that comes with the book.

Another method to unearth your strengths is by looking back at your past experiences. Try to pinpoint the tasks and activities where you naturally excelled and felt enjoyment.

Don't hesitate to seek feedback from those around you, such as colleagues, friends, and family. Their insights can be valuable in recognizing your strengths.

Furthermore, there's a wealth of books and resources on the subject of strengths discovery. For instance, "Now, Discover Your Strengths" by Marcus Buckingham and "Strengths Finder 2.0" by Tom Rath are great places to start.

I hope these suggestions guide you towards discovering your top strengths. :)
