the best way to pass a course is to review what you. Leaned that day.once a week create index cards with a word or process on front of the card and answer on back review weekly if you did not do this and test is soon make cards on highlights of each topic on index cars and study half an hour 3 times a day and take the practice test from the chapter you read . Other than the obvious answer to study, make your studies more compelling with adding in some online resources to add "color" to your text. Many people learn better visually. Check with your teacher and consult google, but there are opportunities, many free, to supplement the text book with videos for learning even just on youtube. Also engage a study group. Smart people surround themselves with smarter people! It will enable the studies to come more alive through conversation and placing what can be dry information into real world scenarios making it easier to remember. Also outside of scope, there are videos available of learning techniques to help with memorization regardless of the topic you are studying. If you can find the right one for you, it will help across your life. Good luck!

The best way to get a firm foundation in IB biology is to pay attention in class throughout the year. Several weeks before the test, your teacher will likely begin reviewing the most pertinent materials with you. You'll need to allot time to study every day. This is much more effective than trying to cram at the last minute.
