What is a good way to discover effective acting classes?

As a person who is new to acting, what is a good way to find good acting classes?

For me, the best way has always been to go and audit the class. Most teachers are teaching the same thing so there has to be chemistry. It is also a great way to "get in the mix" and meet other actors.
