How do I obtain a doctorate degree?
Hi I am Tom. I am currently a student majoring in English literature music and dance arts ..I am a tenth grader. I am also in the football team that's how I got into college

The way you obtain a Doctorate Degree is that you first obtain a Bachelors Degree, then a Masters Degree and then go for your Doctorate Degree. I would not recommend fast-tracking this degree because that would defeat its purpose. How you would actually do it depends on the colleges that you attend and what their requirements are. With a Doctorate (PhD) you would be able to teach at the college and University level, so it is a worthwhile academic path to follow. You will have mastered your field and be a leader in your chosen field.
It's not very "cut and dry" because there are a few different types of Doctorates. The various kinds of Doctorates are: Applied Doctorate, Research Doctorate, Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Education, Doctor of Musical Arts. The requirements for a Doctoral program depends on the subject you would be doing it in, and you would take courses the first year and in your second year you would prepare for exams. What follows is research and then writing a thesis or dissertation. At the end of the program, you will present and defend your thesis and dissertation. An Applied Doctorate may replace the dissertation requirement with an internship or residency.
You can read a lot about Doctorate Degrees online by doing a search online. I would also recommend that you do a search of colleges in your town that may offer Doctorate Degrees and you can always visit and speak with staff at the college about it.
