Martha’s Answer

This is an interesting question, Clinton. It seems like a varied and important role that is critical to court operations. With Baby Boomers retiring, it also seems like a role with good job prospects, even if some responsibilities become automated.

I put several links about the role and job prospects below, including one from your home state of Florida. There are more links, such as from indeed.com, if you want to research further.

Good luck!

Cristina’s Answer

Hi Clinton

A clerk in court, often called a court clerk, is responsible for managing the administrative tasks of the court. This includes keeping records, filing documents, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly during court sessions. They help judges and attorneys by preparing case files and handling scheduling. It’s a vital role that keeps the legal process organized.

If you’re interested in the legal field, it’s a great position to learn a lot about how the court system works. Hope this helps :)
