Sindhura’s Answer

My main challenge is data modeling and performance optimization. I need to understand relationships, make DAX more efficient, and see how model design affects report speed. I'm working on getting better by practicing star schemas and writing optimized measures. Dealing with messy or inconsistent data before making reports is also tough. Power Query is strong, but finding the best transformations requires practice. Keep going—every bit of practice counts, and you're on the right track to mastering these skills!

Soraya’s Answer

Some challenges faced when using Power BI:
-Learning curve: Complex interface and features like DAX (Data Analytics Expressions), which can be difficult for beginners.
-Performance issues: Larga datasets or complex calculations can slow down reports, especially if data models are not optimized or refreshed frequently.
-Data Preparation: It requires clean and well-structure data. Poor data quality or inconsistencies require extensive pre-procesing and time consuming.
-Cost: Advance features require a Premium license than can be expensive for small businesses.

Will’s Answer

Hi Teja,

I've used a few visualization tools at work - Power BI, Tableau, QlikView. The most significant challenge faced is almost the same regardless of the tools - How to create clean relationships between different data sources.

Specific to Power BI, complex data modeling and DAX calculations might require a very steep learning curve.
