What should I do if I am thinking about doing an independent job?
I gave some thought into it and I wanted to be a virtual YouTuber (content creator) and a Vocaloid music artist. But I am not thinking of joining any corporation because I want to do it as an independent profession. What should I do to start off?

The most important thing when making content is consistency. There are many platforms that you can upload content on like Youtube(as you mentioned) and Tiktok, as well as streaming platforms like Twitch or Kick! Your best chance at taking off is making and uploading content consistently, even if its just like once or twice a week to start off.

This is only an advice, maybe good, maybe bad haha
1. Grow up your skills first of all, mainly technical skills. This open new opportunities for more knowledge, experience and better contacts for more jobs.
2. Chase the big money industry for sell your skills. Remember, you not have a corporation buying your "time" but the best way for get a good cash flow for you is selling your skills for corporation, or big industry.
Example: the big industry for music and artists is live events. It's a billionaire market and I'm sure that you can find some good freelances with your skills.
3. Work in parallel in your own career until you have a considerable income of this solo work. After this, you make more confident for left the big market and focus more and more in your YouTube channel or musical career.

P.S. Today I work in my own record studio and I follow this steps until I get a full time here. This happen in some 15 years. But I think we live in better times now and we have more options for get more in less time. Thx internet and digital marketing!

Well I believe that you should start off and what it is that you do best now whatever that may be you have to answer that but whatever it is that you do best is how I would start off and then go into the next thing a little bit later and go from there.
