What are my ups and downs for being a veterinarian?

I’m in middle school, and I’ve always wanted to be a veterinarian since when I was little. I love animals but I don’t have a friend or family member to help me with my questions. So I was wondering what are my ups and downs, and how much stress are you in most of the day? Is it a good job, like does it pay good? I want good money to pay for a house, food, and water.
