My long term goal is to be able to consult with local companies, to improve their processes overall, while freeing up time to spend with my family & still meeting all of our financial needs. This work-life balance can be achieved with an annual income of $80k+ without a need for overtime.

I am a husband and father who has spent most of his life believing that integrity and being a hard worker was all it would take to get a decent career. For quite some time I suspected that there was an "invisible ceiling", but kept being told by more "successful people" that I must be doing something to sabotage myself. Nonetheless I continue to hold to my principles and give the best I can in the workplace. I am now working on other avenues to advance my career, and doing what I can to help those I work with improve their odds along the way.
I currently work in a warehouse environment, where I make a point of learning as many different roles as possible to better understand the whole of operations and help to improve our overall process.
