How will I know that I chose the right career path for me? What signs do I look for to determine that I am on the right path to becoming a teacher?

I love children and enjoy helping them learn new things. I just want to make sure that education is the field for me.

Try finding internships and baby sitting jobs. Work with kids as often as you can and in a wide range of ages. This will help you solidify the grade you want to teach as well as get you experience in the child care/work field.

Knowing your passions is critical in determining what career path you want to take. So first, know what your passions are and what you are good at; that should help you. If you enjoy children and adolescents and like learning/teaching new things, then you are most likely on the right path. Of course, you should have a major in a subject, and also, if you enjoy reading, you should have a major in that subject.

I think you should ask yourself if you are ready to project your views, your aspirations or your knowledge to children and secure a better education for them. If you like children, you are empathic, willing to design a better future for them and enjoying every moment of their success, then you will be a great teacher.
